my very favorite bible story :)
Well, lately i've been thinking about this bible story alot. I know it's not very popular, but i love it anyways. One reason it's probably my favorite is because one Wednesday night at my youthgroup we did this as the lesson and decided to act it out. and I ended up playing the woman. It really opened my eyes to how i'm just like that woman! my sins are just as bad as hers even though they're different.. so i just wanted to share this with ya'll. :) Gotta love God's Word..
John 8:1-11
1But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" 6They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." 8Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

can i just say i love country music?!
i know, i know, you are probably thinking "how in the world could she like songs about beer, braking up, and pickup trucks!?" but its not all like that. Some of the songs are great! my favorite country artists and bands are carrie underwood, taylor swift, rascall flatts, sugerland, and a bunch others! haha so dont judge country music.. its not all about beer :)

Knowing..
last friday night me and most of my family went to go see the movie "Knowing". In a Christians perpective it was mostly weird and wrong haha but i gotta admit the graphics were pretty cool and the music was awesome. The worst part was the ending though.. you expected it to be freaky but it ended up really cheesy. HAHAHA. So the best part was spending time with my family and laughing out how weird the movie was in my point of view. But you gotta love this century.. you are lucky if you end up seeing a GOOD movie

music <3
music is one my passions. i love to sing, and lately me and a friend have been doing music at my church's youthgroup! i love it alot but sometimes i feel weird doing it.. i wonder what everyone will think about me or be like "wow she's interesting and cant even sing." but i let those feelings take me away from knowing that im not singing for me. its NOT all about me. i'm using my talents for God and if i do that, then there's absolutely no reason to feel weird or out of place. because im not singing for me, or anyone in the crowd, i'm singing to the one who deserves ALL the glory :)
